The eighth book in the Windfall series is ready for “Beta” readers! It’s called “Windfall: The Counting House.” Like the rest of the Windfall series, there’s action, and it’s gritty and earthly. Not a children’s book. Not recommended if you’re squeamish or easily offended. And in case you are wondering, yes, this is book 8 in this series (and there are 16 more to go), but there is a timeline synopsis at the beginning of the book that should get you up to speed. (Just remember, there has been a million+ words and over 3000 pages before this one!! So… there may be some initial confusion!!!)
However, this is also the last book in the first octet (i.e. first eight books). There are three octets altogether. This book concludes The Conviction Opus so if you want to figuratively “turn to the last page” and find out how the octet ends… this is the book to read!
Beta reading is pretty simple. I send you a free copy of the book. You read it. You give me any kind of input and I put your name in the acknowledgements at the end of the book when I put out the production version. “Windfall: Virgins” is 460 pages long. I plan to send out the books the first week of April 2018, and the deadline for input will be June 1, 2018 (which means you’ll have almost eight weeks to read it).
I have already ordered 40 copies for the Beta readers, and I have already written the former Beta readers to see if they would like to read it. As of right now (3/28/2017), there is still room!
