The eleventh book in the Windfall series is ready for “Beta” readers! It’s called “Windfall: An Unexpected Hour.” Like the rest of the Windfall series, there’s action, and it’s gritty and earthly. Not a children’s book. Not recommended if you’re squeamish or easily offended. And in case you are wondering, yes, this is book 11 in this series (and there are 13 more to go), but there is a timeline synopsis at the beginning of the book that should get you up to speed. (Just remember, there have been almost 1.5 million words and over 4400 pages before this one!! So… there may be some initial confusion!!!)
This is also the third book in the second octet (i.e. books 9-16). There are three octets altogether. This book continues The Revelation Opus so we are starting the build for book 16!
Beta reading is pretty simple. I send you a free copy of the book. You read it. You give me any kind of input and I put your name in the acknowledgements at the end of the book when I put out the production version. If you’d like to know more about the Windfall series before you decide, just click on the “windfall” link on the left side menu.
“Windfall: An Unexpected Hour” is 470 pages long. I plan to send out the books the first week of October 2019, and the deadline for input will be November 15, 2019 (which means you’ll have approximately six weeks to read it).
Anyways, if you would like to be a Beta reader, just send me an email at me@philfarrand.com and include your mailing address. And, I apologized for this, but Beta reading is limited to the United States, Canada, and the United Kingdom. Postage is just too expensive for anything else.
